Jeep FAQ How-To Articles Quick Reference Product Reviews My Buildup Random Home	Bypassing the YJ/TJ Daytime Running Light Module   So while replacing my fenders I found a module on the driver side fender. Turns out it was a Daytime Running lamp module ( 56004262 ). The new fenders didn't have holes for this module, and my YJ didn't have working day time running lights.     You can just unplug this module and the headlights will still work. The only downside will be indicator for your brights will no longer work. To fix this this all you need to do is join the Red wire / Grey Stripe and Red Wire / Orange Stripe at the DRL connector.     With those two wires connected your bright indicator will function normally. Several wires on that harness are still live, so I would still pull it up higher on the fender and tie it out of the way.
